Mr. Abokhair received a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy with a Minor in Arabic from The University of Texas at Austin in 2019. He obtained his Doctor of Jurisprudence from the University of Houston Law Center and was licensed to practice law in Texas in 2024.

Before joining Daw & Ray, LLP in August of 2025, Mr. Abokhair worked for an insurance defense firm in Houston, Texas handling all sorts of claims. Mr. Abokhair is currently a member of the State Bar of Texas and an active member of his church community.

Mr. Abokhair’s areas of concentration include appellate work, personal injury, premises liability, commercial liability, and first- and third-party insurance defense.
