Mr. Trager is a Partner at Daw & Ray, L.L.P. He received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Vassar College in Poughkeepsie, New York in 1997, where he was Senior Class President and the student commencement speaker. Mr. Trager obtained his Juris Doctorate from the New York University School of Law in New York, New York and was first licensed to practice law in New York in 2002. Mr. Trager has since also become licensed to practice law in California in 2008 and in Texas in 2014.

Mr. Trager began his legal career at the New York and Los Angeles offices of an AMLaw100 firm before joining a boutique litigation firm in Arlington, Texas in 2014. Prior to joining Daw & Ray, LLP in February of 2026, he had most recently worked for a litigation defense firm in Dallas, Texas. Mr. Trager is currently a member of the State Bars of Texas, California and New York and is admitted to practice before multiple federal district and appellate courts throughout the country.

Mr. Trager’s practice concentration includes complex litigation matters in a variety of settings.
