Ms. Fordyce received a Bachelor of Journalism degree from the University of Texas at Austin. She obtained her Doctor of Jurisprudence, magna cum laude, from South Texas College of Law and was licensed to practice law in Texas in 2009.

While in law school, Ms. Fordyce served as assistant editor-in-chief and assistant managing editor of the South Texas Law Review. Ms. Fordyce also served as an intern for federal Judge Ewing Werlein Jr. in the Southern District of Texas. Before attending law school, Ms. Fordyce worked as an award-winning journalist for almost a decade and ended her career as an assistant sports editor in West Palm Beach, Florida. Ms. Fordyce worked as a contract attorney on complex litigation cases for large corporations before joining Daw & Ray, LLP in September 2010. She is currently a member of the State Bar of Texas.

Ms. Fordyce’s areas of concentration include personal injury, premises liability, commercial liability, construction litigation, and first and third party insurance defense.
