Jeanine E. HoloyeMs. Holoye received her Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy, summa cum laude, from the University of Saint Thomas in 2000 and her Doctor of Jurisprudence, cum laude, from South Texas College of Law in 2004. During law school, Ms. Holoye studied at the National University of Ireland in 2002 and interned in Albany, New York with Judge Christine Marbach-Kellet in 2003. Also while attending law school, Ms. Holoye was a member of South Texas Law Review and served as Assistant Managing Editor. She also participated in Moot Court and Mock Trial competitions. Ms. Holoye became licensed to practice law in Texas in 2004 and in Michigan in 2007. In 2006, Ms. Holoye received an L.L.M. in Labor and Employment from Wayne State University Law School.

After law school, in 2004 Ms. Holoye opened her own practice where she concentrated in the areas of employment law, family law and wills, trusts and estate planning.

Ms. Holoye joined Daw & Ray in 2007. Ms. Holoye’s areas of concentration at Daw & Ray include employment law, estate planning and probate, insurance defense, premises liability, personal injury, and commercial liability. She is a member of the Houston Bar Association and Houston Young Lawyers' Association.


 

 

The State Bar of Texas, through the Texas Board of Legal Specialization, does designate attorneys as board certified in various areas of law. Willie Ben Daw, III, James L. Ray, and C. Thomas Valentine are board certified in personal injury trial law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. No other attorneys associated with Daw & Ray are board certified in any field recognized by the State Bar of Texas.
