C. Nicole ParkerMs. Parker received a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations, with honors, from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville. She obtained her Doctor of Jurisprudence from South Texas College of Law and was licensed to practice law in Texas in 2007. Ms. Parker also received her Master of Laws from the University of Houston Law Center in 2009.

While in law school, Ms. Parker was a member of the Phi Delta Phi honors fraternity and participated in moot court competitions. Ms. Parker also served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Richard H. Edelman, Justice, Fourteenth Court of Appeals of Texas. Prior to joining Daw & Ray, L.L.P., Ms. Parker worked as an associate attorney with a defense firm in Houston, Texas. Ms. Parker is currently a member of the State Bar of Texas and is admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas.

Ms. Parker’s areas of concentration include personal injury, premises liability, commercial liability, and insurance defense.


The State Bar of Texas, through the Texas Board of Legal Specialization, does designate attorneys as board certified in various areas of law. Willie Ben Daw, III, James L. Ray, and C. Thomas Valentine are board certified in personal injury trial law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. No other attorneys associated with Daw & Ray are board certified in any field recognized by the State Bar of Texas.
